To and From the Airport
While Austin has a selection of cab companies and other transportation options to get you to and from the Austin Bergstrom International Airport, the most efficient and cost-effective route is via Capital Metro’s Airport Flyer. This economical option (only $2!) leaves from the Airport every 30 minutes and stops at the Austin Convention Center and within a few blocks of core downtown hotels.
Capital Metro, Austin’s public transportation provider, offers numerous routes and options for riders. Whether getting to and from your hotel, heading out for a bite at one of Austin’s world-class eateries or visiting one of Austin’s beautiful public spaces – Capital Metro has an option for you!
Austin has several taxi companies to get you around town but remember, call times can be a little lengthy during peak hours. During normal times a taxi can usually be found in front of the Hilton Hotel, located across 4th Street from the Austin Convention Center.
