We're so excited that Architecture for Humanity is an official supporter of SXSW Eco 2013. Founded in 1999, AfH is a nonprofit design services firm that is helping to build a sustainable future across the globe. Leaders in disaster relief and community-centered design, AfH draws from a community of over 50,000 built environment professionals to benefit over 100,000 annually by making their communities better, more resilient places to live, work and play. Their many projects include disaster reconstruction in impacted areas such as Haiti, Japan and the areas affected by Hurricane Sandy, the Open Architecture Network // Worldchanging, an online open source community for design and the Green Schools project with USGBC, another SXSW Eco supporter.

Media Partners and Supporters are a crucial component of making our event successful. This partnership opportunity is great for organizations wanting to connect with the leaders and innovators who annually attend SXSW Eco. Supporters help to spread the word about various aspects of our conference most relevant to their networks and communities–from energy to food to design. They also are given the opportunity to get their work and missions to our community, through pre-event coverage and/or a presence at SXSW Eco in October.
