SXSW Eco Mentor Sessions provide a forum for making valuable one-on-one connections that can take your career to the next level. Mentor Sessions allow registrants to participate in a seven-minute meeting with an industry veteran or insider. These short meetings provide a great forum for the mentor to dispense important advice, guidance, counseling and inspiration to their mentee. Mentor slots fill up quickly and advance sign-up is encouraged via mentor.sxsweco.com. Pending availability, walk-ups will be accepted daily beginning at 10am in front of room 11A.
Advance your career with continuing education credits from the American Institute of Architects. AIA has certified 30 - 1 hour Health, Safety and Welfare credits. Each of these can also be self-reported for Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) credits and participation certificates are available. To gain credits sign up with the volunteers that are located inside each session room with sign-in sheets.
Startup Central Breakout Sessions
These round table coaching sessions give entrepreneurs access to experts in startup marketing, funding, pitching and more!
Startup Bootcamp, presented by Fish and Richardson and BKM Sowan Horan (BKMSH), will feature a series of 30-minute workshops relevant to young companies. Topics will include intellectual property, corporate partnerships, VC funding, technology commercialization and more.
Startup Central Connect presented by The Austin Chamber of Commerce introduces cleantech and impact startups to the investors and customers who can take these businesses to the next level via curated one-on-ones.

These sessions are longer in format and smaller in size to give participants hands-on training in practical skill areas such as fundraising, networking, communication and technology integration.
