Carbon industry experts will be taking the SXSW Eco stage to talk about how effective carbon reduction projects can make a tangible impact on climate change for businesses and individuals alike.

Nicholas Eisenberger, Managing Partner at Pure Energy Partners, will moderate the panel and be joined on stage by former United Nations project verifier and current Global Offset Research CEO, Siddharth Yadav, Cool Effect COO and world-class carbon reduction project pioneer, Marisa de Belloy, and Impact Carbon’s Executive Director and expert in project cultivation in less-developed countries, Evan Haigler.

The panel discussion will break down the complex world of carbon credits and projects. Attendees will walk away understanding what exactly a carbon reduction project is, the extensive vetting process to determine these projects are providing a proven impact, how the funds not only reduce carbon pollution from the atmosphere, but also have an impact far beyond by saving lives, helping the local community and much, much more. We are also happy to have Cool Effect as an exhibitor so be sure to stop by and learn more about how you can join their community to take action on climate change.

Add this session to your 2016 SXSW Eco schedule.
