As the lead for sustainability across Google’s worldwide operations and products, Kate Brandt coordinates with Google’s data centers, real estate, supply chain, and product teams to ensures the company is capitalizing on opportunities to strategically advance sustainability and circular economy. She formerly served under President Obama as the Nation's first Chief Sustainability Officer and was responsible for promoting sustainability across Federal Government operations.

During her keynote, Kate Brandt speaks about Google's approach to creating sustainable practices, covering everything from where the internet lives at the data center level to how Google reduces waste from their cafes to the use of data and analytics.
