Presidents and College Students Debate the Future of Climate Leadership

President Jimmy Carter, former Irish president Mary Robinson and Hina Jalai, advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan will debate the future of global climate change leadership with students, entrepreneurs and climate activists at Paris’ Science Po (The Institute for Political Studies) on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22. Carter, Robinson and Jalai are members of the The Elders, an independent group formed by the late Nelson Mandela to work together for peace and human rights. The event will be live-streamed on The Elders website.

Mary Robinson is the founder of the Mary Robinson Foundation Climate Justice and the original funder of the Climate Wise Women who presented a panel discussion at SXSW Eco 2013, “Climate Wise Women: Global Leadership from the Grassroots."
