AMD Volunteers on Town Lake by Debbie Finley

We're excited to announce Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) will be returning to host the third annual Green Army service project at SXSW Eco this October.

Each year, the Green Army community service project engages conference attendees, giving them the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects throughout the city and leave Austin a better place.

Getting involved in AMD's Green Army is a great way to get out, get active, and meet other like-minded conference attendees. Last year, over 250 volunteers helped to collect over 165 bags of trash and recyclables with Keep Austin Beautiful and preserved about 9,000 native tree seeds with Lady Bird Wildflower Center.

Have an idea for a service project you'd like to see AMD's Green Army tackle at this year's SXSW Eco? Give us a shout with your suggestions: info@sxsweco.com
