Getting a room

SXSW Eco has contracted blocks of guest rooms for registered Eco attendees at several quality hotels near the Austin Convention Center.

These rooms can only be reserved through the SXSW Eco Housing Desk. After you register online and your registration is paid for (or a Purchase Order number has been associated with the registration) your SXSW Eco Shopping Cart will display a link to the Hotel Requester. You must complete that online form to submit a hotel request.

You’ll be required to provide a valid credit card to guarantee the reservation but the hotel will not charge anything to that card at this time. You will be responsible for providing a method of payment to the hotel when you arrive to check in. Please note that requesting a room via the housing desk is a request and not a guarantee until you receive an emailed reservation confirmation from the housing desk.

A limited number of rooms are available at these rates. We encourage you to book your hotel when you register because hotels are likely to sell out.
