A seasoned design thinker and creative strategist, Mitch Baranowski co-founded BBMG to help create disruptive business solutions and delightful brand experiences. He has overall responsibility for the brand innovation firm’s creative direction and operations.
Since 2003, Mitch has helped dozens of start-ups develop brands, spearheaded multinational consumer campaigns and advised numerous Fortune 500 companies on how to create shared value by connecting sustainability, enterprise strategy, product development and brand marketing. Recent clients include mission-driven brands (CLIF Bar, Seventh Generation, Eileen Fisher), global leaders (adidas, L’Oréal Paris, NBCUniversal, PepsiCo) and ground-breaking social enterprises (Getaround, EKOCYCLE, Madécasse Chocolate).
A frequent guest lecturer at NYU, Parsons, FIT and Pratt Institute, Mitch got his start working for the NPR affiliate in Austin, Texas. He likes to call himself a “recovering journalist,” quick to wax rhapsodic about his favorite Texas musicians, from Blind Lemon Jefferson and Lefty Frizzell to the Wagoneers and the Old 97s.
